The Quintilian Fellowship is available to teachers who have spent at least two years in the Great Hearts classroom and who want to consider more deeply both the theory and the practice of the classical tradition.
Quintilian Fellows can receive up to a $15,000 tuition grant to pursue a Masters degree at a partner institution and develop a network of connections both within the company and in higher education that will help establish them more firmly in their careers as classical educators, and introduce them to the scholarly conversation about their craft.
Quintilian Fellows will elect a commitment to Great Hearts ranging from 3-5 years. All financial contributions of the Fellows are made through paycheck withholding, and can be as little as $35/check for a Masters degree worth approximately $27,000. Quintilian Fellows receive a raise for the degree after their third year of participation, which means that Fellows who make a five year commitment will pay a total of $2700 over their first three years, and will come out of the fifth year with net positive earnings in addition to the degree.
Interested teachers should inquire with their headmasters about receiving a recommendation for the program.
